Looks like NVIDIA might just have to license that patent under FRAND terms

You all might remember that Apple got a bunch of devices banned from the German Apple store yesterday.

For those who didn't stumble upon that tidbit, Apple's 3G iPad 2, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 were forced off the online German Apple store.

It was a victory by Motorola that enabled this, but it looks like it was all quite short-lived.

It has now been reported that Apple managed to get the injunction suspended quite quickly.

Looks like that argument it brought that Motorola refused to license the allegedly infringing patent under FRAND terms (fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory) was more effective than some would have expected.

In related news, Motorola also won a second injunction, over iCloud instead of FRAND patents. Now it just needs to follow up on the €100 million / $131.45 million bond required to enforce it.
