Sanho Electronics announced the HyperDrive HD80 and the HyperDrive Mini, which are said to be the world's fastest and powerful memory card backup devices. These new gadgets allow you to backup data from memory cards to their built-in hard disk at speeds of up to 16 MBs.

The Sanho HyperDrive HD80 and the HyperDrive Mini accept 8 memory cards types, more exactly CF Type I/II, MD, SD, MMC, MS, MS Pro, and xD, and they don't need any kind of additional adapters.

HyperDrive HD80 comes in an aluminum encasing, in four different versions: the 40 GB one that costs 199 USD, a 60 GB one priced at 239 USD, an 80 GB model available for 269 USD and a 100 GB version priced at 299 USD. Sanho claims that on a single battery charge you can transfer up to 80 GB of data.

The data protection is assured by the 24-bit hardware-based ECC copy verification. Also, the power supply is a good option for high current draw memory cards, like the MicroDrive cards.

The battery charger that comes bundled with the devices will charge the batteries in about 3 hours. The devices support FAT12, FAT16, and FAT32 memory cards. Also, the built in hard disk has no need for an additional computer because it has an auto format function.
