14 DAY TRIAL // Telltale Games’ Back to the Future: The Game is scheduled to debut on Mac OS X this Wednesday, December 22, the independent digital publisher announced today. Dubbed “It’s About Time!” the game is only the first taste of a five-part scheduled release.
According to the publisher, Back to the Future: The Game brings the iconic ‘Marty McFly’ and ‘Doc Brown’ back together in a completely new cinematic adventure, where the DeLorean Time Machine will travel across a total of five episodes.
The time is set six months after the events of the third film, when the DeLorean mysteriously returns to Hill Valley.
According to the game’s plot, ‘Marty’ must go back in time and recruit aid from a resistant teenage ‘Emmett Brown.’ Should he fail, the space-time continuum will be forever unraveled.
Christopher Lloyd (Doc) is voicing ‘Doc Brown’ for the full game series, Telltale Games said.
Bob Gale, the co-creator and co-writer of the landmark films, says, “Telltale's Back to the Future game is the first videogame in the space-time continuum to be truly worthy of being called ‘Back to the Future.’
