The animals were born only recently at a zoo near London

Back in June, the ZSL Whipsnade Zoo close to London witnessed the birth of two baby red pandas, which only recently decided that the time had come for their fans to meet them face-to-face.

Thus, after spending several months cuddling with their mother, Yin and Yang finally worked up the courage to leave the safety of their cradle and stepped out to explore the rest of their surroundings.

As was to be expected, quite a lot of people gathered to witness their first experiences in the outside world, and luckily for us some of them brought cameras.

Just for the record, red pandas are presently listed as a vulnerable species, primarily because of the fact that most of their natural habitats have been destroyed as human society continued to develop and encompassed ever more portions of land.
