14 DAY TRIAL // Despite being nominated for several awards at Sunday’s BET Awards 2014, Chris Brown didn’t win anything but, even so, the night was not without significant moments for him. The biggest was, without a doubt, his return to the stage as a live performer.
For the first time since he’s been released from jail, Chris performed live for a large audience: he and Lil Wayne and Travis Barker took to the stage for a rendition of his hit single “Loyal,” much to the delight of the fans gathered at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles and at home, in front of their television sets.
What I’m saying is that, even though he didn’t win, Chris had a lot to celebrate with the BET Awards. And celebrate he did.
The video below is of Chris being carried out of a BET afterparty that took place at Hollywood’s Playhouse club. Various media outlets report that he was too drunk to be able to walk on his own so, luckily, because he always travels with such an impressive entourage, he could rely on his bodyguards and friends for that.
You see a dazed Chris being carried through a screaming crowd (inebriated or not, the ladies still love him, it would seem) as his friends try to block the paparazzi from taking his photo in this state.
His on-and-off girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, is waiting for him in the orange Lamborghini, into which Chris is finally deposited.
As the saying goes, work hard, party harder.
