14 DAY TRIAL // R. Kelly literally shut down the BET Awards 2013 last night, taking over the Nokia Theater in LA (with some help from a choir) to perform a superb medley of some of his greatest hits.
His performance is embedded below in full.
Stars and fans in the audience were surprised as women and men dressed in almost identical outfits strolled down the aisle singing to several of R. Kelly’s songs.
After the choir, the man himself popped up on stage, looking dangerously fashionable in a spiked leather jacket and matching cap, to perform only a few seconds of some of his biggest hits.
These included but weren’t limited to just “Ignition,” “You Remind Me,” and “12 Play,” and got the audience singing and dancing along in a matter of seconds.
It was, as they say, a genuine walk down memory lane.
