BELLPERRE, an important manufacturer of luxury mobile phones has just unveiled its latest masterpiece, the Bellperre luxury phone. The device is inspired by Italian design, and is ultra slim. Further, the luxury phone is accompanied by a unique customization program, which lets users choose how their phone will look. The company advertised the phone as being "affordable", or at least as targeting "a sincerely wider audience compared to current luxury phone brand offerings".

The BELLPERRE luxury phone's frame is precision crafted out of one single piece of metal. The buttons are made from steel, while the screen's glass is made of sapphire crystal. The back of the device is covered with genuine leather sourced from a wide range of animals: buffalo, lizard, crocodile, ostrich, and even shark.

The customization program enables customers to make their own choices regarding the material used for buttons, as well as which kind of leather (color included) to be used. They can choose to make the phone's solid metal frame and steel buttons from brushed steel, polished silver, 18K rose gold or 24K yellow gold finishes. The leather collection contains 125 genuine leather options.

The technical specifications of the phone includes: 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, GPS, quad-band support, 2.2 inch display with 16 Million colors (240 x 320 pixels resolution), Stereo Bluetooth, FM radio. The luxury phone supports 80 languages and also offers Russian, Arabic and Chinese keypad versions.

The device measures 111 x 45 x 11.2 mm and weighs 135 gr (including battery). I believe the latter can vary according to what kind of material is used for manufacture. The company didn't make any statements regarding the price of the luxury phone, but we can't see how can a phone made from 24K gold be “affordable.”
