BlackBerry delivered more updates to its BBM application over the weekend. However, only the beta versions of the application have been updated with new features and improvements.

If everything goes well, these new features and improvements might be included in the stable version of BBM very soon. After we reported about the BlackBerry 10 version of BBM beta, here are the changes you will see in BBM beta for iOS.

First and foremost, with the latest version of BBM beta for iOS, you will be able to order sticker packs. You can customize which Sticker Pack you see in your main Sticker Picker view using the Stickers Settings Menu.

The other two new features introduced by the Canadian company are available in BBM beta for BlackBerry 10 as well.

The first one is Status Publisher on Feeds Tab, so you can read your friends' updates and share your own. With the new features, you can now quickly update your status from the Feeds tab directly.

You can now edit retracted and timed messages

Moving on to the second one, you will now be able to edit messages with the Timed Message and Message Retract Subscription. How does it work?

Well, it's pretty simple. You will now be able to retract, edit, and send a new message to replace a message that is accidentally sent. According to BlackBerry, the original message is retracted immediately, and pasted into the input field for quick editing and sending.

As with each beta version update, this one comes with some known issues as well, which, hopefully will be addressed in future iterations.

The first known issue refers to multiple instances of “Screenshot detected” that appear if users take a screenshot of the conversation screen (user did not take screen shot of Timed message).

There's also another problem where BBM crashes while scrolling in Chat conversation screen, but this one manifests intermittently.

Keep in mind that this version of BBM beta for iOS is only available via Test Flight, so go get it and take advantage of the latest new features introduced by BlackBerry.
