If you consider breakdancing something fascinating, a way of living your life or just your biggest hobby, you should be happy right now since SouthPeak Games has announced B-Boy, their title in development for PSP and PS2 consoles. As the name suggests, the game will allow you to prove your skills and defeat the world's greatest breakdancers - everything starting this summer, when it is released in the United States.

No matter how good you really are at breakdancing, you will still have to prove your worth to the world: you will have to progress from low key neighborhood battles all the way up to the world championships. Of course, it will not be an easy job, since you will have to confront all kinds of obstacles along your way, such as building a crew and a reputation, as well as winning battles with real life b-boys from Europe, Asia and North America.

"B-Boy is the only game that gives players the opportunity to become premiere breakers," said Katie Morgan, Executive Vice President at SouthPeak Games. "The game's fantastic playability, dead-on authenticity and high production values give it a style all its own. While it remains true to its roots of the scene, it maintains a feel that gamers will love."

All the in-game moves are motion-captured from experts, which means that you'll experience a game very close to reality - over 800 motion-captured moves should be enough to convince you B-Boy means serious business. Also, 22 authentic venues are featured, including Red Bull: King of the Ring, Freestyle Sessions, UK B-Boy Championships and IBE. Since breakdancing means nothing without the adequate music, 35 top hip hop tracks will be available for you to test your skills: The Black Eyed Peas' "Bringing It Back", James Brown's "Get On The Good Foot", Cypress Hill's "The Phuncky Feel One" and Eric B and Rakim's "Don't Sweat The Technique" just to name a few. And all these will be available this Summer.
