Most of the recent hype and enthusiasm has been revolving around the release of the various DirectX 11 video cards, as the latest models boast not only the most advanced graphics capabilities to date, but they can also perform parallel processing tasks. Nevertheless, the second and equally important element on which gaming immersion relies is the audio quality. Auzentech is proud to present the Auzen X-Fi Bravura 7.1 sound card, a device that utilizes the Creative PCI Express audio processor.

The Auzen X-Fi Bravura 7.1 is a full-height, custom designed PCI Express sound card aimed at HomeTheater PC enthusiasts and audiophiles, but also boasts “impressive gaming capabilities.” Optimal audio, both Digital and Analog, is possible thanks to the optimal placement of the circuitry. The X-Fi PCI Express Core Interface audio processor is built into the back of the circuit board, while the analog circuitry is on the front.

The card is capable of 7.1 channel playback, with a speaker output of up to 24-bit/96kHz, and stereo playback of up to 24-bit/192kHz with 120dB DAC for the headphone output. The device is built out of premium-quality audio parts, supports professional microphones thanks to its stereo/balanced mode microphone pre-amplifier and all its output OPAMPs are replaceable by the purchaser. In addition, the card's front panel features an Intel HD Audio 10-1 pin connector.

Besides the above-detailed specifications, the Auzen X-Fi Bravura 7.1 features independent Headphone Output Circuitry for professional headphones and even the company's proprietary Pointing Ground Power Supply technology. This latter element delivers audio free from the power supply noise.

“The Auzen X-Fi Bravura 7.1 promises 'breathtaking' audio for music and movies with DTS Neo:PC & DTS Interactive. And when it's time to unwind with your favorite PC Game, you won't be left behind with EAX 4.0,” the press release said.

The card is already available through Auzentech and online retailers. Full information may be found on the official product page.
