Owners of Windows Phone 8 smartphones can now download and install a new highly appealing mobile game on their devices, namely Freddy.

The title has received the 1st Place in 2013 Unity3D & Microsoft game contest, and it also landed on the second position in the Microsoft contest called “Your company – Your chance for success.”

Launched as a physics-based arcade game, Freddy arrives on Windows Phone 8 devices with appealing graphics, as well as with a fun and original gameplay.

The title comes from MobiTouch Sp. z o.o. and plunges users in an adventure in which they have to help Freddy the frog to safely walk through a world full of multi-colored poisonous balls.

Apparently, Freddy is a gourmand and will easily swallow the poisons, which means that players will have to steer it clear of any of the aforementioned colored balls by dropping them into flasks.

However, there’s more to it, as players will also be able to collect special items, visit magical places, and gain extra points by hitting flying nuts.

At the moment, the game is available in a beta flavor, but an update is expected to arrive before the end of this month, with some more levels and other enhancements packed inside.

Among these, the team of developers promises more addictive levels, great achievements, daily bonuses, a Christmas bonus pack, a variety of improvements, and support for additional languages.

At the same time, those who will grab the game now will enjoy a variety of other enhancements as well, the release notes unveil.

Freddy for Windows Phone 8 is available for purchase at $0.99 (€0.72) at the moment. It landed in the official Windows Phone Store as version 1.0.0.0, with a free trial included.

Those who would like to buy and download Freddy for Windows Phone 8 today will find it available on Softpedia as well.
