For a Nissan campaign

Nissan partnered with the Sunnyvale company Yahoo to promote some of its products using exciting music content delivered through the Yahoo Music platform. The famous car producer already has history with the giant portal because it is already promoting other products that recorded impressive success. According to MediaPost Publications, the content will be provided by several hip hop, R&B, pop and other music genres artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Joss Stone, Avril Lavigne, Beck and Enrique Iglesias.

"Interactive will have a large presence for the Rogue launch," Melissa Adams, senior manager, Nissan Media, said according to the same source. "Nissan Live Sets is definitely here to stay. We're in month eight, and will be continuing into year two. The vehicles we have used for the quarterly promotions--Altima and now Rogue--have seen the most benefit in terms of lead generation, but, overall, we've seen great metrics even during non-promotional months," she says."

Yahoo is opened to new partners all the time and this is proved by the impressive number of deals signed with all kinds of companies. Today's agreement is useful for the Sunnyvale company by two reasons: firstly, it improves the popularity of the company because it associates Yahoo's name with Nissan and secondly, it brings more content for the Yahoo Music platform.

"The Rogue pre-launch program, "Ultimate L.A. Rogue Trip," centers on a concert on the sound stage by Carlos Santana and others. The program, via ePrize, dangles an all-expenses-paid trip for two to see Santana perform live at Nissan Live Sets on Yahoo Music," MediaPost Publications wrote today.

Lately, Yahoo tried to improve several aspects of the company starting with the advertising platform and ending with the music service. However, the big investments were made into the advertising products for which Yahoo offered huge amounts of money.
