The hair- and skin-care company wants animal testing to be ended without delay

Just yesterday, the Humane Society of the United States announced that hair- and skin-care company Aubrey Organics had joined the organization's “Be Cruelty Free” campaign, and would offer its full support to efforts to end cosmetics animal testing on a national and global scale.

Given the fact that, ever since it was created back in 1967 by American biochemist and writer Aubrey Hampton, the company has been openly opposed to animal testing, it really should not surprise anyone that it has now decided to strike a partnership with the Humane Society of the Unites States.

“Aubrey Organics has pledged to support The Humane Society of the United States’ Be Cruelty Free campaign to end animal testing for cosmetics in the U.S. and the rest of the world,” the organization writes on its website.

“The HSUS welcomes this support of a company in our effort to make the U.S. the next cruelty-free marketplace,” it goes on to add.

For those unaware, Aubrey Organics is in the business of offering personal products that contain no preservatives, petrochemicals or artificial colors and fragrances.

The company verifies that its products are safe with the help of non-animal methods, and says that they are faster, more cost-effective and yield better results than animal tests.
