Michael McInnes was jailed for six years after being charged for attempted murder in 2010, but managed to escape the police officers when he never returned from an allowed home leave. He started mocking the law by posting photos of him partying on Facebook and sharing an article writing about his arrest.

The 23-year-old left his victim, Kevin McNee, brain damaged back in 2010 after repeatedly stamping on his head. He was given an extended sentence but was allowed a home leave that gave him the perfect opportunity to escape. After his alleged visit, the thug never returned and instead of hiding from the law he decided to mock it, on social media.

Photos of him drinking and partying with his friends in nightclubs were all over the man's Facebook page. In his police mocking spree, the attempted murderer posted links with local newspaper articles revealing the story of his conviction.

Amused by the photos posted online while running from the police, one of McInnes' Facebook friends commented “Your the hide n seek champion lol.” The Scottish Prison service is now being mocked by an escaped thug that doesn't even struggle to stay hidden.

The parents of the victim McInnes left brain damaged said that this whole incident made them sick to their stomach, “he should never have been in an open prison, he should have been kept in secure jail because he's a danger to the public. When we saw on Facebook that he had been celebrating with his friends at a club, it just made us sick,” Agnes McNee, the victim's mother told the Daily Record.

The Castle Huntly prison issued a warning about the thug’s escape a week after the incident, and the victim's family was announced 48 hours after the happening. The McNee family was in shock expecting the worst from the man that robbed their son from a normal life.

Until he gets caught, the run-away thug will be having a lot of fun, as the pictures posted until now show. The man had no problem showing up in the city's fanciest clubs and partying with his friends like he had no care in the world.
