We've seen plenty of iPad cases equipped with Bluetooth keyboards make their way onto the market lately, but it seems that this trend is starting to affect the iPhone as well, with ThinkGeek recently unveiling exactly such a product, namely the TK-421 iPhone case with flip-out keyboard. Without a doubt, there are quite a lot of people out there who're still finding the transition to a full-touchscreen to be a rather difficult process, and we're pretty sure that they're certainly appreciate ThinkGeek's latest contraption, given the fact that, after all, it's capable of delivering the best of both worlds. As the company informs us, the keyboard flips out for use, then flips back in when done, the magnet based clasp keeping the typing accessory in position whether flipped in or out. The keyboard will work very well with any app such as e-mail, web browsing, notes, and calendar, while the fact that it uses a completely wireless Bluetooth connection means that it won't occupy the dock connector. Moreover, in order not to affect the iPhone's functionality, the keyboard is powered by a built in rechargeable battery that recharges via the included USB cable. Unfortunately, as we've mentioned right from the start, the accessory from ThinkGeek will work just with the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS models, simply because the older ones don't support the extra Bluetooth keyboard. As far as pricing is concerned, we'd dare to say that ThinkGeek's not exactly exaggerated, since they charge around 50 US dollars for the TK-421 case, which is not that high a sum, given the extra level of functionality it enables. As you might remember, this is not the first Bluetooth keyboard / case for the iPhone 4 we've talked about, but the previous one we've come across, provided by Boxwave, had a rather different system, sliding-in the keyboard underneath the iPhone instead of flipping it out.
