If Guttenberg had seen this, he would have gone mad! The latest trend in the electronic industry seems to be the wacky mixture between devices that are not related in any way.

Therefore, Atree has managed to create a gizmo hybrid between an e-dictionary and a jukebox. The so-called UM10 device looks small enough to beat the competitors, though its controls are rather small.

It reveals a nice 3-inch screen with a 480 x 272 pixels resolution, meaning it is pretty much large enough to fit all the 100.000 words the company has decided to integrate in the device. And, dude, the gadget features an English/Korean dictionary as well as reading Office documents capacities. Not to mention you can display some nice family photos, since it supports most of the photo formats on the market.

The device is not a heavy weight in the bag, since it measures a mere 101.7 x 63.7 x 17.2 mm and weighs only 150grams. It is also a pleasure to use it while having a coffee in a fancy restaurant, because it slides and tilts up smoothly and features touchscreen patterns.

But wait till you see the media capabilities. According to the company, this baby can actually handle WMV video clips along with the common MP3, WMA and OGG audio, so it covers the most important formats.

However, if you want to customize the player's sound, do it with one of the integrated EQ modes. Moreover, the Atree device comes packed with 2 or 4GB storage capacity, but the memory can be boosted using the built-in MicroSd card slot.

The popular DMB tuning is also available with the device in Korea for the TV broadcasts, but the FM radio is accessible from almost everywhere. Sadly, the pricing and the availability details were not revealed for the time being, so we'll get back on this!
