Shakespeare would roll in his grave

Should I be surprised that there's a horse-raising title on the Wii or by the fact that it's called "My Horse and Me". For the record, the correct version of such a title is "My Horse and I" and it seems that Atari needs some grammar lessons, or maybe the game's name is some sort of metaphor, referring to the famous Mii-s you can create.

So, what has Atari offered us till now? Well, let's say that they've released all of the Dragon Ball Z titles we adore, the Alone in the Dark series and the blockbusters we all know as "Enter the Matrix" and The Matrix: "Path of Neo". It seems that releasing a Wii-based title has made them nervous, as they've got the game's title all wrong.

Finally, all the pony-loving girls who own Barbie dolls have a title to drool at, aside from the Barbie games. My Horse and Me will be available in October and I might give it a try, just for fun and for the sake of "Black Beauty" one of the TV shows I used to watch as a child. While this is not something to brag about, you'll probably like the title's "tycoon" side (I hope that there is such a thing). Also, if you'll be able to bet on your own horse, while racing, count me in, as I'm a fan of horse racing.

Back to the funny title, we shouldn't criticize Atari too much for their choice, as we've seen tons of other horrible game names, but at least they were grammatically correct. In an era when most of the games are released straight in their English version or translated into Shakespeare's language, putting "My Horse and Me" on the cover of a 2007 media product is surely a weird initiative.
