Latino stunner Eva Longoria of “Desperate Housewives” is in the November 2010 issue of Latina Magazine, talking about her home, holidays and, of course, Thanksgiving dinner.

Celebrities rarely talk about their life at home, when the cameras are not rolling and there’s no red carpet to pose for pictures on – but Eva has always been very open about her personal life.

The same goes for her latest interview, in which the petite star reveals she’s quite “homely,” always happy to have guests over and to cook for them and entertain them.

“With [husband Tony Parker] traveling, it’s great to have friends around. I love a house filled with people and the energy that comes,” Eva says.

Always being surrounded by people also means more experiences to be shared among friends, which is yet another thing the star “relishes.”

Since the holiday season is almost here, Eva also talks a bit about it, saying that it’s actually like a break for her, because she gets to stay at home more and do more of the things she loves, as opposed to going to work.

“The hustle and bustle of the holidays is my break. I actually enjoy running around doing all of the shopping, preparing the food and all of that stuff,” Longoria says.

For her, the holiday season doesn’t come with unbearable stress because she takes pleasure in the frenzy that leads up to it.

“People get so stressed around the holidays, and I’m the exact opposite. My husband does a really good job of figuring out flights for everyone,” she explains.

In the same interview, Eva also shares a bit on her Thanksgiving tradition, which, in her home, means just what it’s supposed to be: a big holiday surrounded by family, with lots of food around.

“I fry the turkey because I love the way it tastes and it’s easy. He’s [Tony] adapted to the Mexican culture rather easily because it’s all around him,” she says.

“Every year we have a tamalería which involves all of the cousins, aunts, my mom and my sisters doing an assembly line to make tamales,” Longoria adds.
