AMD is not the only company that plans to ride the Battlefield 3 wave, as Asus in collaboration with Nvidia and EA has also decided to bundle DICE's latest game together with some of its GeForce-series graphics cards.

Just as in the case of AMD's solutions, Asus will also offer a coupon that will allow users of select Asus GeForce graphics cards to download the full version of the game.

The video cards included in this promotion are the DirectCu II versions of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 560/Ti, 570, 580 and the dual-GF110 590, basically graphics solutions from the mainstream up to the high-performance class.

According to the information uncovered by SweClockers, the promotion will most likely begin on the same day with the Battlefield 3 official launch, on October 27 to be more precise, so that it won't interfere with the initial sales on the game.

Asus' Direct CU II series includes a large number of custom designed graphics cards which use direct contact heatpipes together with large heatsinks and fans to deliver better thermal and acoustic performance than Nvidia's reference designs.

At the same time, the high quality components installed on the DirectCu II models also improve the overclocking headroom of the solutions using them, making them highly popular among enthusiast PC users.

Just a few days ago, the SweClockers website also uncovered that AMD was planning a similar Battlefield 3 promotion through its graphics card partners.

However, AMD's promotion is only valid for video solutions based on the Radeon HD 6870 design.

In the short time since the public Beta of Battlefield 3 was announced, the game has become famous for its high system requirements, since turning all the in-game video settings to max requires a graphics card equivalent with the GTX 580 in terms of performance for smooth gameplay.
