Other European countries could share a similar faith

It seems like all those rumors that placed the European launch of the Transformer Prime in January of 2012 have some truth being after all, as Asus Sweden recently revealed that the tablet won’t start selling in this region until 2012.

Other European countries could also share the same faith, with the Prime only becoming available in January of 2012.

The news, which came or way via Nordic Hardware, is bound to disappoint many users in Europe who wanted to find the Transformer Prime under their Christmas tree this year.

For those of you in need of a quick reminder, Asus’ Transformer Prime 10.1-inch tablet is powered by a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 chip and can pack either 32 or 64 GB of storage, while also featuring an 8MP snapper and a battery pack capable of delivering 12 hours of battery life.

This time too customers in the US were privileged over their European peers since in this region the Prime will start selling sometime between 12 and 19 of December.
