Only the 32GB version with the "optional" keyboard dock is available

With North America and the UK covered, Asus’ Transformer Prime has now started to go on sale in other parts of the world.

The latest country to receive Asus’ quad-core tablet is Italy, Android fans living here at the moment having the chance to get their hands on the Prime after paying 599 Euros ($775 US).

For this much money, buyers will get the 32GB version of the tablet with the “optional” keyboard dock.

As many of you know, the Transformer Prime is the first quad-core tablet to reach the market and it sports a 10.1-inch IPS+ display, 32GB or 64GB of storage space as well as front and rear cameras.

During the launch event for the Transformer Prime, which was attended by Notebook Italia, Asus said that the Android 4.0 update for the original Transformer TF101 would arrive in about three weeks’ time.
