We all know that tablets can game, but Asus’ soon to be available Transformer Prime seems to take this one step further as it sure has what it needs to put some consoles to shame.

The guys from Swedroid decided to put the Prime’s gaming skills to the test and paired it with a PS3 Dual Shock 3 gamepad and a series of emulators to see what the tablet is capable off.

Powered by the Nvidia’s quad-core Tegrs 3 SoC, which includes an integrated GeForce GPU, Asus’ creation takes on some popular Android titles such as Riptide GP and Shadowgun as well as a bunch of classics like Mario Kart, Super Mario 64, Legend of Zelda, Crash Bandicoot, and Donkey Kong 3 and comes out swinging.

Check out the video above to see just how well the Transformer Prime fares, but I am sure that you will be just as impressed as we are.
