Faster than the "regular" Asus MARS II graphics card

While BlizzCon might not be the kind of convention associated with high-performance computer hardware, this hasn't stopped Asus from bringing to the show its impressive Limited Edition MARS II graphics card.

While on a fist look the card may look identical with the “regular” MARS II, the Limited Edition is a tweaked version of that model as its two GTX 580 GPUs were overclocked to deliver even grater performance.

According to Legit Reviews, the rest of the specs are about the same, which means that the Limited Edition sports a 21-phase Super Alloy Power VRM, 3GB of GDDR5 memory and 3GB of DDR5 memory (1.5GB for each of the two GPUs).

If this monster of a graphics card sounds just about right to you, then you should know that pricing is set at $1,500 (about 1,076 Euros).

That's just a tad more than the $1300 (933 Euros) "regular" Asus MARS II, so it shouldn't be a problem. Right?
