Showcased for the very first time during the Computex 2011 fair, Asus' F1A75-I Deluxe mini-ITX motherboard for AMD A-Series accelerated processing units has finally been made official, thus becoming one of the few small form factor FM1 mainboards available at this point in time.

Just as its name implies, the board is built around the high-end AMD's A75 fusion controller hub (FCH), which is paired together with two full-size DIMM sockets supporting up to 16GB of system memory as well as with a PCI Express x16 expansion slot.

This is seconded by four SATA 6Gbps ports, that are driven by the A75 FCH, which also provides native support for quad USB 3.0 ports, two of them being routed to the rear I/O bracket.

The other two are available through a pin-header placed right between the chipset heatsink and the 24-pin ATX power plug.

Also on the rear I/O bracket, the F1A75-I Deluxe packs jacks for 5.1 channel audio, four USB 2.0 ports, a Gigabit LAN port, an eSATA port, a PS/2 port, a digital S/PDIF audio connector as well as HDMI, DisplayPort and DVI video outputs.

Just like most other Asus Deluxe motherboard models, the F1A75-I Deluxe includes a Bluetooth transmitter, which is also placed in the back of the board. Both the AMD A75 chipset and the Digi+ VRM use passive cooling.

Asus hasn't mentioned when this motherboard model becomes available for purchase, or just how much it will retail for, but given the shortage of Mini-ITX FM1 solutions on the market and the rich feature set, I don't expect the F1A75-I Deluxe to come cheap.

However, more budget conscious users can take a look at its smaller brother, the vanilla F1A75-I, which drops more advanced features like DisplayPort and Bluetooth connectivity in favor of lower costs. (via SweClockers)
