14 DAY TRIAL // Asus announced four brand new mobile computer systems that are aimed not at providing the very best and latest the hardware industry has to offer but rather to deliver a significant increase in portability and style. These new Asus mobile computing devices range from the fully fledged notebook systems to an ultra portable device.
The first of the new line of Asus made products is the U6S that comes with a 12.1 widescreen display that uses the LED backlight technology in order to decrease weight and increase the battery life that according to the news site dailytech, can reach an impressive five hours when talking about a single six cell battery. Like all other new Asus laptops, this one too comes with 2GB of DDR2 random access memory as well as 1GB of Intel Turbo Memory that should boost responsiveness. On the graphics side the G2S is equipped with a Nvidia GeForce 8600 powered card as well as a 200GB hard disk drive, a DVD burner, a TV tuner and wireless networking interface.
