In today's highly competitive world it has become increasingly difficult for motherboard makers to differentiate their products from the competition, so Asus started shipping its LGA 2011 solutions with Battlefield 3 and Corsair-built liquid coolers to lure customers into buying their Sandy Bridge-E solutions.

The bundles have already started to make their way into Europe, where a price comparison engine has listed quite a few Asus LGA 2011 motherboards that come with DIEC's latest title and Corsair coolers.

These are available for ROG-series motherboards, the Rampage IV Formula and Rampage IV Extreme, and their retail prices vary between 3890 SEK ($579 or 426 EUR) and 4190 SEK ($623 or 459 EUR) depending on the board chosen.

Surprisingly, going for a bundle with the Corsair H100 instead of the H80 won't add anything to the total price, so we recommend you to choose the H100 provided that you have enough room inside your case to install it.

If you have your own cooler for Intel's LGA 2011 socket, Asus also offers some bundles that drop Corsair's solutions and only offer Battlefied 3 as part of the package.

Furthermore, the Taiwanese company also retails a series of bundles for the P9X79 motherboards that come with either the Corsair H80 or H100 liquid coolers with prices stating at 2990 SEK ($445 US or 327 EUR).

According to the SweClockers website, this is only the beginning since Asus is also interested in further reducing LGA 2011 system costs by bundling its motherboards with quad-channel DDR3 memory.

Intel released its first Sandy Bridge-E processors, the Core i7-3960X and Core i7-3930K, just yesterday and both of these six-core CPUs target the enthusiast crowd. If you want to know more about these processors make sure to check out our review of the Core i7-3960X.
