The development team at Ubisoft is continuing its advertising blitz for Assassin's Creed Unity with the launch of an entirely new story trailer for the title which is designed to show some of the historical figures that gamers will be able to meet as they explore the narrative of the coming open world experience.

The footage is beautiful and features an introduction of Napoleon, who will apparently work closely with main character Arno, and the Marquis de Sade will also play a role.

Gamers can also see some of the locations that they will be able to visit in Assassin's Creed Unity and learn a little bit more about the conspiracy that they will need to unravel in the coming game, although plenty of details will only be uncovered by actually playing the new Ubisoft experience.

The developers are also delivering a range of screenshots associated with the game that show some of the action that Arno can perform and the power of the new game engine the studio is using.

Assassin's Creed Unity expands the open world concept

Assassin's Creed Unity takes gamers to Paris and allows them to be part of the most important moments of the French Revolution, with a chance to look past the historical record in order to discover who is manipulating the masses and what their ultimate aims are.

Gamers will be able to experience the classic mechanics of the series but they will also get a range of new dynamically-generated missions which will deliver new challenges.

There are also new combat moves to try out and the city of Paris has been recreated based on a lot of historical data.

For the first time in the series, Ubisoft is also introducing a cooperative mode for up to four players who will be able to customize their characters and then work together in order to accomplish harder missions and get access to a range of new rewards.

Assassin's Creed Unity will be out on November 11 in the United States and on November 13 in Europe and can be played on the PC, the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony.

Another title called Assassin's Creed Rogue will be launched on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 later in the year and is designed to allow gamers to play as a Templar and will have some story cross-over with the other experience.
