Assassin's Creed Unity is still in rough shape for some gamers, and the team in charge of the game at Ubisoft says that it will try to fix most if not all the remaining issues associated with the open-world title in the coming patch 4, which is at the moment in testing.

The company is not yet willing to commit to a full change list for the experience but it is saying that it’s tracking crashes that happen after loading a save, which can be avoided at the moment by taking the system and the game offline and by then re-loading.

Ubisoft states, "Most instances of this crash will be eliminated in Patch 4, but if you do still encounter this issue after the Patch is applied please file a Customer Support ticket to help us identify what your issue is so we can create a fix for it."

The official announcement also says that the company is interested in making sure that other problems disappear: error CE-34878-0, the initiates legacy recognition issues, companion app problems, and more.

At the moment, Ubisoft does not have an official launch window for patch 4 for Assassin's Creed Unity.

Gamers will get free content if they picked up the Season Pass

At the same time, the publisher is willing to deliver some more details on how the free content can be obtained by those who had picked up a Season Pass for the title before it launched and its many problems became apparent.

It seems that currently the process is still being evaluated and that a web-based solution will be used to handle requests from the community and then distribute keys.

Ubisoft adds, "All Season Passes sold prior to the announcement will still be valid, so you can redeem it at any time. Please note that your Season Pass will have to be redeemed before you are able to receive your free gift offer. "

The China-themed Assassin's Creed title that was initially included in the Season Pass is also still in development and more details about it and its launch will be offered in 2015.

The Paris-themed video game had plenty of problems on launch, and the three patches that have already been delivered by Ubisoft have managed to improve the game experience for many people.

The new title in the series is called Victory and is designed to take gamers to London on current-gen consoles and the PC in late 2015.
