The development team at Ubisoft working on Assassin’s Creed Unity is delivering yet another video for the coming open world title which is focused on the complex team mechanics that will be included in the all new cooperative mode.

For the first time in the series, up to four players can enter the same session and work together in order to take out enemies and achieve objectives, and Lesley Phord-Toy, a producer working on the experience, offers details on how they can boost each other’s capabilities and execute moves that would be impossible otherwise.

Ubisoft explains, “All missions can be completed solo, though the difficulty will not scale down so you may find yourself wandering into something you’re not fully prepared for. Missions can be completed multiple times to receive more rewards, and the Heist missions will always provide you with a fresh challenge as the prize locations and guard layouts are different every time.”

Assassin’s Creed Unity Coop keeps the core traditional open world elements that have made the series a success but introduces some more structure for both the core narrative and the missions that are dynamically generated as the story progresses.

Assassin’s Creed Unity and the beauty of Paris

Assassin’s Creed Unity takes gamers to Paris during the days of the French Revolution and allows them to take part in the most important moments that are part of written history.

But what gamers already know is not enough to explain the events, and the protagonist, Arno, will have to explore a beautifully recreated city in order to discover who is controlling the course of events.

The game is set to be bigger than any other previous entry in the franchise and the team working on it says that there are more options than ever when it comes to dealing with enemies and with the unique challenges of traversing Paris as fast as possible.

Assassin’s Creed Unity will be launched on November 11 in North America and on November 13 in Europe on the PC, the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft, with gamers encouraged to get access to a Season Pass which delivers the Dead Kings campaign and the standalone China-focused title that uses a 2.5 D concept.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue is an experience designed for the Xbox 360 and the PS3 which will arrive later in the month and will offer some cross-over story moments.
