Ubisoft follows its tradition to postpone PC versions

Ubisoft, to the surprise of almost no one, has announced that its upcoming Assassin's Creed: Revelations for the PC has been delayed until December, while the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions are still on track for their initial release date of November 15.

Ubisoft has made a habit of announcing games that will appear at the same time across the PC, PS3 or Xbox 360, and then waiting until the last minute to delay the PC version due to various reasons. This happened with the recent From Dust or Driver: San Francisco, and has been pretty much a staple of the Assassin's Creed version since the first game.

Now, the next installment, Revelations, has also been delayed, although this time it's a much shorter delay, with Ubisoft pushing the PC version back by around 3 weeks or so. No official reason was given, so it's anybody's guess if last minute technical problems appeared, or if it's just a business decision.

Are you still looking forward to Revelations on the PC or will you now get it on consoles?
