After the massive announcement at the beginning of the month, Ubisoft is now detailing Assassin's Creed: Revelations, more specifically the locations that the main character, Ezio Auditore will visit.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations is set to be one of the biggest titles of the end of the year, so Ubisoft, its publisher, is making sure that details about it are arriving each week.

Now, thanks to the same cover story in Game Informer magazine, Revelations' Creative Director, Alexandre Amancio, has talked about the locations that Ezio Auditore, the protagonist of the last two games, will go to in the new title.

We already know that Assassin's Creed: Revelations sees Ezio try to follow in the footsteps of his ancestor, Altair, and the first stop will be in Masyaf, an old fortress that was the home of the Assassin order in the first game.

"He wants to find the library there to learn more about the Order. He follows the footsteps of Altair to Masyaf. What begins as a pilgrimage turns into a race against time," explains Amancio.

After that, the game shifts to Constantinople, the capital city of the Ottoman Empire, which is going to be the main setting of the title.

It's split into four districts encompassed by two parts, one in Europe and one in Asia, and control over them is one of the major goals in the campaign.

"This is the center of the known world at that time. The spice trading and all that related trade happened through Constantinople. It was one of the main reasons that Europeans tried to go around Africa - because Constantinople was this great hub controlled by the Ottomans. And, essentially, everything needed to go through that city."

When Ezio won't be going through Constantinople, he is going to visit Cappadocia, an underground city controlled by the Templars, his Arch rivals, and home to some unique environments.

Last but not least, Rhodes is also going to be a part of the game, but not necessarily the single-player campaign, as it will see maps based on it appear in the multiplayer mode of Revelations.

Expect plenty of other details to appear about Assassin's Creed: Revelations soon, with more concrete information set to be revealed at next month's E3 conference in Los Angeles.
