14 DAY TRIAL // Along with the first gameplay trailer of Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, Ubisoft revealed details on the collector's edition of the game.
According to Ubisoft, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will be available on PC, PS3, PS4, Wii U and Xbox 360. Each platform will have four distinctive collector's editions with its own bonuses and exclusive content.
These will be available exclusively in EMEA territories, along with a new online VIP program called THE WATCH. The editions are as follows:
The Black Chest Edition (Uplay exclusive) containing collector's box, a premium quality 55 cm diorama of Captain Edward on the Jackdaw's Bow, an exclusive SteelBook, a high-quality artbook, the official soundtrack, 2 lithographs in their protective envelope, 2 canvas prints, all existing additional Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag unlockable in-game content, including single player missions, skins and weapons, a parchment world map and an original Black Flag replica.
The Buccaneer Edition (exclusive to Game in the UK & GameStop in Ireland) containing collector's box, a premium quality Edward Kenway Figurine on the Jackdaw's Crow's Nest, a high-quality artbook, the official soundtrack, 2 lithographs in their protective envelope and additional unlockable in-game content.
The Skull Edition (available UK market-wide) containing collector Jumbo Steel Case, a high-quality artbook, the official soundtrack, 2 lithographs in their protective envelope and unlockable in-game content.
The Special Edition (exclusive to Game in the UK & Xtravision in Ireland) containing Sacrificed Secrets Pack (Sacrificed Island, Captain Drake's Outfit, Dual Swords and Dual Flintlocks) and Captain Kenway's Legacy (Golden Dual Swords for use in single-player and the Treasure Hunter multiplayer costume).
Aside from the exclusive bonus in-game content received by customers who pre-order the game, Ubisoft will also offer them a unique activation code via select UK retailers (Game, Amazon and GameStop in Ireland) or Uplay.
This unique code will provide players access to the Assassin's Creed VIP program called THE WATCH, which offers additional information on Assassin's Creed universe, bonus content, rewards, as well as the chance to take part in an exclusive quest designed specifically for VIP members.
Last but not least, starting today, Assassin's Creed fans can pre-order the limited edition Edward Kenway: The Assassin Pirate figurine via uPlay. The figurine will come with a special code that will unlock bonus in-game weapons and skins.
