Australian rugged device producer, Aspera has recently launched a whole host of solid and durable mobile devices, which includes the RT3 tablet.

The slate has been especially created to provide a workable solution for mobile professionals on the go, who need to stay connected. With that purpose in mind, Aspera has made the tablet 3G capable, so those working in though conditions can still use the Internet, when out of Wi-Fi range.

The RT3 features a 7-inch display with 1200 x 800 pixels and draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The slate is equipped with a 5MP rear camera, which can prove really useful in some work situations. There’s 8GB of default storage onboard, extendable to 32GB via the microSD card.

Aspera has added a 7200mAh battery under the hood, to ensure mobile professionals get the necessary juice to complete their work tasks. On top of that, there’s a GSensor, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

Because this is a device constructed to be used in risky environments, Aspera has made the tablet capable of enduring being submersed in water for up to 30 minutes and dust resistant. Its toughened glass and rubber body safeguard the product from being harmed. So far, price range hasn't been made available yet.
