People said they wouldn’t last as a couple, but Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are proving everyone wrong, having just recently gotten engaged and now expecting their first child together. With these two developments in their relationship, they’re still in no rush to get married.

The two have known each other for years, having met on the set of the hit sitcom “That ‘70s Show,” where they played lovers. They remained friends once the series ended and became romantic shortly after Ashton’s 6-year marriage to Demi Moore imploded in a major cheating scandal.

They have been inseparable since then, despite the many times the tabloids “tried” to break them up. It turns out that they’re convinced that what they have is the real deal because they don’t feel like heading down the aisle just now.

“They are happy, healthy and excited to start a family,” says a pal for Us Weekly. “There is no rush to get married.” However, when they do get married, it will happen in a “very intimate and private” ceremony because, as a couple, they really hate it when they’re in the spotlight like that.

Another source to the couple goes on to say that both future parents are now keeping busy with research for what they must do upon the arrival of their newest family member. Danny Masterson, who became a father last month, has been providing Ashton with helpful tips. They too know each other from “That ‘70s Show.”

“He asked Danny how it felt to be a dad, if he felt ready. They've been talking about play dates!” a spy gushes, adding that “[Mila] is all about being a mother.”

Before Kutcher’s divorce from Demi Moore was finalized, there was a lot of speculation about how he was literally dying to be a free man again so that he could marry Mila and get started on a family with her. It seems that, now that they have a “bun in the oven,” he wants for them to enjoy the experience of pregnancy and stress about the wedding at a later date.

Word has it that Mila too wants to wait for the baby to be born before even thinking about the wedding plans because she doesn’t want to be a pregnant bride. It is not known yet when the child is due.

Ashton and Mila are yet to confirm both the engagement and the pregnancy.
