Asetek has recently announced the availability of its OEM-ready, LCLC liquid cooling solution designed for Intel's new Core i7 family of extreme processors and motherboards. This unique liquid cooling solution comes with extremely high overclocking capabilities, while also enabling OEMs to deliver demanding gaming and entertainment applications with virtually no noise generated.

“The need for speed continues unabated,” states Gary Baum, Asetek's Senior VP of Marketing & Sales. “By using our LCLC thermal solution, OEMs and system integrators are now able to take full advantage of Intel's powerful new processors and push the performance envelope to the extreme. Even more powerful workstations and PC gaming machines will be the result.”

The company's highly integrated liquid cooling solution is compatible with Intel's latest 1366-socketed motherboard architecture. Moreover, it is easy to install and can lower the temperature of the 130W Core i7 CPU by over 7 degrees. The processor runs significantly cooler while providing critical edge in advanced gaming or other graphics intensive applications. The liquid cooling solution is extremely quiet, the system heat exchanger fan being the only one to generate noise, yet only 30 dB(A), as quiet as a whisper.

Asetek presents itself as the only liquid cooling company to provide OEM level reliability. End-users can enjoy a 50,000 hour operational lifetime without maintenance, proved by shock, vibration, and thermal stress testing. Moreover, the units are factory sealed, meaning that users will not have to perform maintenance actions like adding fluids. This adds up to the system's capabilities of providing stable CPU performance while running even the most demanding applications and game titles.

As Baum said, “Premier OEMs throughout the world continue to choose Asetek for their advanced computing applications since we clearly provide the best overall thermal management solution available on the market today. Our commitment to the OEM market is further demonstrated by our immediate support of Intel's highest performance processors and motherboards”.
