A retro-flashback to remember you about the '70s

I am sure that there are a lot of people out there who still keep things dating back from the late '60s and '70s, just for the simple way they look and perform; those years had something very special as the design was highly influenced by the newly-developing space age and everything had to be a little "spacey" in order to attract an eye? Audio gear was not an exception and still there are manufacturers that use a good deal of retro design in their very modern and actual gear, much to the pleasure of their customers.

The retro look is still one thing that sells and names like Bang & Olufsen and now Grundig are exploiting this to the max. The German manufacturer has recently announced a new set of loudspeakers that are due February 2008, the Audiorama. These are most '70s-like spherical loudspeakers that come with unlimited versatility and will definitely help you permanently and effortlessly change the way your d?cor looks.

The Grundig Audiorama are "sound spheres" that can go anywhere, from laying directly on the floor to placing them on tabletops, on other pieces of furniture; of course there is nothing to stop you from hanging these loudspeakers from the ceiling or mount them on walls. As said before, the Grundig Audiorama will offer you unlimited freedom to arrange the room as you wish.

On the other hand, the Grundig Audiorama benefits from the 360-degree sound dispersion offered by the spherical design, thus being able to better fill a room with less power and richer sound. Besides looking the way they do, it seems that the Grundig Audiorama are both coming with style and tech as well, as it's expected they will sell very well. Even if the white papers aren't public yet, the price was already announced, around $800/EUR600 per pack of four speakers. It remains to be seen what they can do in reality but it's most likely that Grundig will not disappoint.
