A comic book artist from San Diego has chosen a unique tattoo design – blank boxes which he fills in with his own drawings every day.

30-year-old Patrick Yurick describes trying to get a tattoo for a decade and never being able to decide on a design.

He has too many options, and he is very picky. He wanted something designed by himself, and he realized that his creativity cannot be contained. Nothing else but blank spots would satisfy him.

According to the Mirror, Patrick bought a discounted session at a tattoo parlor, via a coupon website. It had an expiration date, so he had to commit to a design before it was too late.

It only took one hour to get etched with his design of choice. He chose his left forearm as his canvas, and he now gets to wear his own art every day.
