Artificial Life, a company that develops mobile content and technologies for smartphones, recently announced that it will expand its product portfolio with over 30 new titles for the Android platform. The company is well-known for its current collection of major iPhone titles.

Most of the new Android titles will be ported from the iPhone platform, but Artificial Life will also be developing brand new titles specifically for Google's mobile operating system.

The company recently changed its marketing strategy to meet the rising demand by Android users for games and applications.

“We seize the opportunity to expand our market share and broaden our revenue stream by capturing more smartphone users from the growing Android market. Android users are seeking top quality content and we are thrilled to deliver a wide selection of successful games and applications to them in 2011,” said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, Inc.

Artificial Life plans to expand in China initially, as this is one of the world's largest Android markets.

The first apps to be launched include a series of major titles produced with partners such as BMW, Red Bull, as well as a new title for the football club FC Bayern Munich.

Next to be released are the company's popular own-branded titles which will be soon available for Android users: the rhythm-based iSoccer Backstreet, iSinkU, the naval strategy game, as well as the classic platform adventure game, iDroidsMania.

Besides games, Artificial Life will bring its business and lifestyle applications such as GluCoMo to Android. GluCoMo is a mobile health solution providing diabetes monitoring and patient coaching services.

The migration of titles to the Android platform is supported and facilitated by Artificial Life's flagship product Opus-M.

The company's Opus- M technology will provide entertainment services and solutions that allow new Android users to share, compete and challenge existing users on other mobile platforms.
