Investors Thomas Schultz and Larry Joseph buying a run-down bungalow in Long Island have come across the find of their lifetime.

In 2007, the investors bought the facility hoping to renovate it, and came across the artwork, paying an extra $2,500 (€1,920) for it.

Several pieces exhibited at galleries in NY are now priced at $87,000 (€37,900) and the artwork has recently been valued at $30million (€23 million).

According to Armenian News, the paintings, drawings and illustrations belonged to Armenian-American artist Arthur Pinajian.

Even as his art is now valued at millions, Pinajian never made money off it during his lifetime. He passed away in 1999 when he was 85 years old, and used the bungalow to paint.

He ended up gathering over 3,000 pieces, and, though he wished they would be thrown out after his death, they remained stored in the garage.
