14 DAY TRIAL // Super Bowl season is upon us and that means that Super Bowl ads are also on their way. For Americans, the Super Bowl ads have become a tradition in themselves, as every year, companies fight for attention on the most watched sporting event in America.
The costs are not to be trifled with, but when the stakes are so high, there's no expense being spared. Arnold Schwarzenegger, for example, was brought out of retirement with a whopping $3 million (€2.2 million) for doing these commercials.
The teaser for the new commercial sees him with a blonde wig, portraying a ping-pong player. As the camera follows one of his hands zipping up the jacket, it finally focuses on his face as a smiling, blonde Arnie says “Surprise!”
In another video, Arnold can be seen making some ridiculous warm-up moves, again, clad as ping-pong player, with a paddle in his hand.
Reports on the Super Bowl ads say that this year some other stars are going to be making an appearance, such as Don Cheadle and comedian Reggie Watts, both for Bud beer.
