The team behind the ultimate war game Arma, Bohemia Interactive has just announced its second project for mobile platforms, Arma 2: Firing Range.

The upcoming shooter game offers a complete firing range simulation based on the critically acclaimed multi-awarded series Arma 2 that is available on the PC.

To make things even more interesting, Bohemia Interactive announces that along with Arma 2: Firing Range and the closed presentation of Arma 3, it will publicly showcase playable versions of the recently announced helicopter simulation game Take On Helicopters as well as the long awaited sci-fi action game Carrier Command: Gaea Mission.

Those who are now attending the E3 event can check out a teaser trailer video and a playable version of the game at Bohemia´s booth, which will be opened during July 7-9.

Arma 2: Firing Range utilizes accurate, high-poly weapon models used in the award winning Arma 2 tactical shooter video game.

In addition, several highly detailed firing ranges with different game modes are available for games to show off their skills.

Gamers will have the chance to pick a weapon from dozens available and compete with other players in online leader-boards and unlock numerous achievements.

Some of the key features of Arma 2: Firing Range include:

- Huge array of weapons available to examine and try out; - Several unique firing ranges with customizable game modes; - Accurate weapon visuals, sounds and ballistics; - Realistic weapon optics; - Online leader-boards and achievements; - Two adjustable control modes.

Bohemia Interactive plans to launch Arma 2: Firing Range for Android some time in June, while iOS and and Facebook version of the game will be announced in due time.

On related news, the PC series of the game comprises of 5 games that offer a complete war game experience: Arma 2, Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead, Arma 2: Operation Combined Operations, Arma 2: British Armed Forces and Arma 2: Private Military Company.
