Both Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande are known for collaborating with other acts in recent times, so it would only make sense that they would get together and try to come up with new material. While Justin tried his hand at hip-hop, Ariana also chose to go down this path, partnering with Chris Brown and Iggy Azalea.

Ariana's new single “Problem” is currently topping the charts, and the Canadian singer took to Instagram to congratulate her, as well as to post a photo with the two of them in the studio. “Congrats @arianagrande on your number 1 song. #arianabieberduet ??” Justin wrote yesterday.

A visibly excited Ariana replied to him on Twitter, “Thank u justin!! secrets out now,” validating the speculation. The rumor was also confirmed by the singer's shared manager, Scooter Braun, who posted the same photo on his Instagram page with the message “Always expect the unexpected. Home team. @justinbieber @arianagrande wow!!!!”

Maybe Braun is hoping that some of Ariana's success is going to rub off on Justin, who hasn't had any success in the charts in the last months and has only released previews of tracks here and there, but nothing notable.

So far, there is no word on the title of the song they are working together on, nor when it is going to be released. Until that happens, Ariana is still enjoying the success of “Problem,” the title song from her sophomore album that is currently at the top of the iTunes charts in over 30 countries.
