14 DAY TRIAL // Ariana Grande is a space warrior princess and she’s determined to not take any prisoners in the new video for her single “Break Free” ft. Zedd. She’s also shooting missiles from her breasts and yes, you can probably blame Katy Perry for that.
The video is available below. It is directed by Chris Marrs Piliero and it plays out like an ‘80s sci-fi movie, in which Ariana plays the good guy gal, on a mission to save her friends from the clutches of the evil aliens.
She carries it out boldly, and after killing all the aliens, she and her friends can party in a spaceship, destination unknown.
The video is very colorful and silly and, I believe, intentionally with bad VFX because, after all, this is how bad they were back in the ‘80s as well. It’s the perfect companion for the summer song.
Speaking of summer songs, below is another new Ariana single, this time a beautiful ballad. It’s called “Best Mistake” and features vocals from Big Sean, with whom she has been romantically linked these past couple of days.
Rumor has it that she and Big Sean started “hooking up” right after he broke his engagement to Naya Rivera. We don’t know if that’s true or not, but they do make beautiful music together. Enjoy!
