Jennifer Lopez may have Beyonce’s back for lip-syncing at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration, but diva Aretha Franklin is probably LOLing as we speak – or so says the Daily Mail.

The legendary singer reportedly said that the thought that Beyonce would sing to a pre-recorded track cracked her up, mostly because she would never even consider to do such a thing no matter the weather conditions.

“When I heard the news this evening that she was pre-recorded I really laughed. I thought it was funny because the weather down there was about 46 or 44 degrees and for most singers that is just not good singing weather,” she is quoted as saying.

“When I heard that I just really cracked up. I thought it was really funny, but she did a beautiful job with the pre-record,” Aretha added.

Now that’s some major shade throwing right there.

As for whether she would have considered doing the same 4 years ago when she performed for the President, Aretha has only this to say: “I wanted to give people the real thing and pre-recording never crossed my mind.”

Oh snap.

So far, Beyonce has yet to address the ongoing controversy.
