An off-hand mention reveals what might very well be one of Archos' long-term plans

Robots wouldn't exactly be our first guess if anyone asked us what we thought Archos was thinking of doing next, but it looks like they are.

At least, this is what an interview with French publication La Liberation revealed.

It was an off-hand mention and definitely doesn't say when and how it will happen, but Archos really is working on robots, or will start to do so soon enough.

They, or it, since only one was referred to, is a very special kind of robot too, one that costs a pittance (300 Euro / $403) and will look like a child-sized humanoid.

This probably won't make it to market any time soon, though, so the thinner tablets that Archos also aims to build will have to keep customers entertained on their own for a while.
