If there is one organization that you can trust for interesting leaks, then that is definitely the FCC. Remember that I mentioned the Archos Arnova and 80b Platinum tablets? Well, it’s time for a new one.
With only a back picture for show, the device's name is Archos 101 XS 2, a follow-up of sorts, to the 101 XS, according to Engadget. While in terms of form factor the case is pretty similar to that of the original 101 XS, a careful eye can spot a microphone, a rear camera and a keyboard connector.
That doesn't give any clues regarding the technical specifications it might have or what has been upgraded from the original 101 XS, but one could take a gander at what the first model had under its slim hood.
The device comes with 1GB of RAM, a Cortex A9 processor as well as a PowerVR GPU and has 16 GB of flash memory.
