Bq has announced that a new Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition sale is now in effect and everyone can get their hands on a new Ubuntu phone.

People who want the new Ubuntu phone from BQ now have a new occasion to buy this device for a limited amount of time. The guys from Bq only have the phones on sale for a few hours, but this is not the first one. In fact, there have been a few ones made available so far and the last sale was posted just before the start of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Users were expecting to see these devices reach the European stores after the convention concluded, but it looks like Canonical and Bq are still targeting early adopters. The Chinese company, Meizu, has yet to provide a launch date as well for the MX4 Ubuntu Edition and it seems that we might have to wait a while until that happens.

Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition sale doesn't last long

If the previous sales have been any indication, the sale won't last for too long and it's already started for a few hours. If you really want one of these phones, you will have to make up your mind pretty quickly.

"Ubuntu reinvents the way you interact with your smartphone. Everything you need in your day is now at your fingertips. Ubuntu offers a revolutionary way of interacting with your smartphone thanks to the new concept of Scopes. Scopes are individual quick start screens that give you access to everything you need: music, videos, social networks, etc. without having to go from one application to another," reads the official Bq website.

quaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition is a unlocked dual-sim phone. It comes with a 1.3 GHz MediaTek Quad-Core Cortex A7 processor, 1GB RAM, an 8MP back camera with flash and a front-facing 5MP camera. The size of the display is 4.5 inches (960x540 resolution), which makes it quite similar to Nexus 4.
