Apple might sell over 37 million iPods in 2005

Annalist Gene Munster said that Apple might sell over 37 million iPods in 2005.

Munster estimates that by the end of 2005 Apple will sell over 37 million units, which will be the foundation for the development of other Apple domains. Also, it is expected that Apple will offer the same functionality to the other products the company has, as an effect of the music player's success.

Apple has two products in the Amazon Top 10 best sellers and four products in Top 20. The black iPod nano 4 GB model holds the third place and the white 4 GB model the seventh.

Also, the period in which iPod is delivered to the client dropped from two weeks to 2-3 days. This applies for both black and white 4 GB iPod nano models.

Considering that Apple has 7 products in the Amazon Computers Top 10, the analyst also considers that iPod is not the only source of revenue for Apple.
