14 DAY TRIAL // OtterBox is quite well-known for the many iPhone accessories it rolled out ever since Apple released its first smartphones onto the market, and for this reason, it should come as no surprise that they've also come up with a pretty comprehensive offering for the latest iPhone model, the iPhone 4.
So, today, OtterBox announced the addition of a wide variety of color options to its Impact Serie, Commuter Series and Defender Series case lines, because, after all, “everything is better in color”, as the company puts it.
The Defender Series cases provide rugged security in three layers, starting with a built-in screen protector that guards against scratches to the interactive Multi-Touch display, and continuing with a hi-impact polycarbonate shell that surrounds the iPhone 4, followed by a tough silicone jacket to help dissipate bumps and shock away from the device.
All buttons are covered and ports are protected by silicone plugs to help keep out dust and dirt, all without interfering with the functionality of the device, while a holster-style swivel belt clip is also included for easy carrying.
The Commuter Series provides two layers of refuge to the iPhone 4, namely a silicone skin that covers the sides and back of the device, then is paired with a sturdy polycarbonate shell.
Just like the Defender Series, the case contains silicone plugs to keep all ports free of debris and slides easily in and out of a pocket or purse and is ideal for those on the go.
The Impact Series is made from a slender yet tough compression molded silicone featuring inner coring to dissipate bumps and shock away from the iPhone 4, while a spray coating is also applied to the case to help resist lint collection, while also enhancing the feel and grip.
Silicone covers the power, home and volume buttons to keep out dirt and dust, and open access to all other features allows users full functionality without sacrificing protection.
A self-adhering screen protector, a microfiber cleaning cloth and application card are also included with every Commuter Series and Impact Series case.
