Soon after reporting that Apple’s Special Deals section had been unattended for over a week, Softpedia spotted new offerings on the Mac maker’s web site, some of which include new-generation systems.

Priced at just $599, Apple’s striking Refurbished Mac mini 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo packs 2GB of memory, a 320 hard drive, and an HDMI port with support for up to 1920-by-1200 resolution.

Unlike its Server-focused counterpart, this mini features a SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW), while both systems share the NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics with 256MB memory.

Buying this pre-owned system will save you $100 on the purchase of a new Mac, Apple shows.

The Refurbished Mac mini with Snow Leopard Server costs more - $849 - but ships with twice the amount of memory (4GB), a 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and dual 500GB Serial ATA hard disk drives.

The HDMI port with support for up to 1920-by-1200 resolution, and the NVIDIA GeForce 320M are intact on the Server mini system.

This offer saves you $150.

The Refurbished iMac 21.5-inch 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo is also a new entry this week.

Priced at $929, it boasts a 21.5-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display, 4GB memory, 500GB hard drive, 8x SuperDrive, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics with 256MB memory, and a built-in iSight camera.

The all-in-one desktop computer also ships with an Apple Wireless Keyboard and the Apple Magic Mouse. This offer saves customers $270.
